Basement Changes

I am really excited for my basement changes! Once my mom and dad get their taxes, we will start on some remodeling. We are going to get rid of the couch and get bean bag chairs. We are going to get rid of the projector and get a big flat screen TV. We are going to knock down this little wall to make more space. We are going to get rid of the bar and make a storage room. The best part of it all is that we are going to get rid of the pool table (it's not that good of one, otherwise I would be pretty mad about that part) and I'm gonna get my own room. Then my brother will get my bedroom and we will make his old one into a guest bedroom. My bedroom downstairs will be pretty big too.

Terrible Thanksgiving

The first and only time I hosted Thanksgiving was three years ago. It went so wrong so quick. The day before, I went to the store to get a turkey and hamburgers for dinner that night.I bought the biggest turkey I could find! I weighed about 30 pounds. So I came home, gave my mom the hamburgers so we could cook it for dinner and gave her the turkey. She was pretty impressed. So the next morning was Thanksgiving and she woke up kind of late. She got the turkey too but it wouldn't fit in the oven! That was a big problem. Then only 30 minutes later, my grandma got to my house and my ant, uncle, and cousin. My mom started panicking. Everybody tried to help her.It was already to late to cook it anyways. It would take too long. So then, we ended up eating left over hamburgers form the night before.

Thanksgiving Break

I can't wait until after school today. That starts thanksgiving break. Tomorrow I don't have anything going on besides guitar lessons. So I can do whatever I want tomorrow. Then, of course, on Thursday is Thanksgiving. That is at my cousins house. I cannot wait. Then on Friday, I may go to Woodland with my friend. That is where he owns a little bit of property. Then on Saturday, I have a gig at the Sky Lounge with my band. We are getting paid 150 dollars no matter what. Not including the shirts that we will sell too. Then  on Sunday, I don't really know what I'm doing. It's going to be a sad day though. That's the last day of break.

Video Game Addiction

Video game addiction is bad. It is not healthy. It's different if you play a kickball game outside or something. That is healthy for you. Video games are bad for your brain too. You can stop the addiction though.  But only if you try. I'm not saying you have to. It would be good if you did. You'd be better off.

If I were president

I would do a bunch of stuff. Make school lunches better in every way first  off. Also make a bunch of chartiys. It would be a hard job though.

Jazz Results

I auditioned for a jazz band on Tuesday evening at the high school. I auditioned for guitar. I did good at everything except for sightreading. Although, I still got a seven out of ten on it. I did make it though. I got my new music and it looks hard. I think I can do it though. I'm gonna play in a concert and everything. It should be fun. I only have about a month to practice, and I have to learn like five songs. I'm not very good at jazz though, but I'm gonna work really hard for the concert. I have to work on sight reading, other jazz chords, and probably a jazz solo.

Halloween

Hallween was lat night. It was fun! I hung out with a couple of my friends and we went around the neighborhood getting candy. We have a huge neighborhood and we went to every house that was giving out candy and that is a lot of candy. There was even this person giving out kool-aid jammers. There was this other person giving out bags of candy and giant pixie sticks. You got to choose which one you wanted. There was also this one house totally decorated in the garage. There's this little thing you walk on in the driveway and past a clown imbetween two curtains into their garage. and in their garage was this flashing light, this guy in this plain black suit, candy, more curtains to block the rest of the garage off. It was the coolest thing ever.
